Head Injury Rehabilitation Ontario
Head Injury Rehabilitation Ontario
Head Injury Rehabilitation Ontario (HIRO) is committed to working with people living with the effects of a moderate to severe acquired brain injury (ABI) by providing evidence-based, client and family centered ABI rehabilitation care in the community. We work with clients and their families to achieve rehabilitation goals that are meaningful for them throughout our continuum of care; from six residential care homes, to transitional living apartments and to community services including group and outreach. Our goal is to help our clients realize their full and unique potential. We are a promise of hope after ABI.

Funded by the Government of Ontario, Vision Loss Rehabilitation Ontario is the province’s leading provider of vision loss rehabilitation therapy, for those identified with blindness/partial sight. With a commitment to the highest standards of rehabilitative care, we deliver results. Vision Loss Rehabilitation Ontario is a healthcare services organization. We provide training that enables people who are blind or partially sighted to develop or restore key daily living skills, helping enhance their independence, safety and mobility. Our certified specialists work closely with ophthalmologists, optometrists and other health care professionals, providing essential care on a referral basis in homes and communities across Ontario.
